Connecticut Genealogy Societies
As with many of the early Colonial settlements, Connecticut is now home to a great many organizations that serve interests in genealogy, ethnic heritage, history, and other research interests. Some groups have a more general focus and emphasize the social aspects, while others - like the Library at Mystic Seaport - have a recognized area of research specialty.
