This site is primarily dedicated to the memory of my paternal grandparents and great grandparents, especially to Patrick Eugene Lynch (born, raised, married, lived, died, and buried in Waterbury CT) and his father Eugene Lynch (born in Ireland, emigrated to America, married, died and buried in Waterbury).

During the process of conducting research which has already spanned more than 20 years, a great deal of unrelated, but still interesting information has been discovered about other Irish families settling in Waterbury and other parts of Connecticut or New England. The pages of this site will detail the findings dealing primarily with this Lynch family, as well as those families that connect through marriage. As shown in the modified pedigree chart above, Patrick Eugene Lynch had ten children with his wife of 42 years, Mary Elizabeth Phelan. The children were born over the span of 22 years and included: John Francis Lynch, Robert Martin Lynch, Daniel Eugene Lynch, Edward Timothy Lynch, Patricia Marie Lynch, Eugene William Lynch, Calista Elizabeth Lynch, Bernard Martin Lynch, Patrick Joseph Lynch, and RoseMary Lynch.
